Weave a little magick into your craft! In this beginner friendly workshop, you'll learn traditional broom making techniques to create your own besom as well as a turkey wing whisk broom- perfect for hearth, home or a touch of Halloween enchantment. Guided by maker Sally Ray of Zombolina's Cabinet of Curiosities, you'll explore broom folklore, work with natural materials, and leave with two one-of-a-kind brooms ready to sweep or display.
13 and older welcome. No experience needed, but semi strong hands and wrists recommended (legs too, as you'll be utilizing a 'foot brake' to wrap your broom.) Some embellishments will be provided (charms, etc.), but please feel free to bring anything you'd like to add onto your broom.
